“国家治理与教育财政：多学科视角下的审视”系列学术讲座
讲座内容简介：
Matching mechanisms are crucial in centralized college admissions. In the past two decades, Chinese provinces changed from the Immediate Acceptance (IA) to the parallel mechanism, a hybrid of IA and the Deferred Acceptance mechanism. Analyses using administrative data on millions of students show that this mechanism change reduced undesirable matching outcomes, including justified envy measures, null admission, and retaking. The improvement in justified envy measures does not always increase linearly or even monotonically with the number of parallel choices. Congestion could explain the higher levels of justified envy and greater improvement from mechanism change for students ranked in the middle.
主讲人：
康乐，北京大学中国教育财政科学研究所博士后，北京大学工学学士（2007）、经济学学士（2007）、管理学硕士（2011）、管理学博士（2018）。主要研究方向为教育经济学、卫生经济学，关注领域包括中国高考的录取机制与匹配稳定性以及儿童的早期发展。近年有研究成果发表于Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, 《北京大学教育评论》《教育与经济》《教育经济评论》等国内外学术期刊。
主持人：
叶晓阳，先后毕业于北京大学经济学院财政学系（2010年）、北京大学教育学院教育经济与管理系（2013年）和美国密歇根大学教育学院（2019年），并曾在普林斯顿大学进行博士后研究，现任职于布朗大学。过去十年，他一直从事中国教育财政和政策研究，曾获得第一届中国教育财政研究青年优秀论文一等奖。
